Perl Mongers is an international organization of Perl user groups. We are the local chapter in the Metro Detroit area. Our group consists of a wide variety of users - spanning from beginner to advanced programmer. We exist to share experiences using Perl, in order to get things done. So if you want to learn Perl or have something to contribute (no matter how insignificant you might think it is) - please see how to join the group below...
To join the group, there is no fee or other special requirements. Only the desire to learn about Perl and other related topics. The first step in joining the group is to subscribe to our mail list. This is easily done by sending an email to majordomo@hfb.pm.org with subscribe detroit-pm-list [your email address] in the body of the email. Once on the list you will be updated with general discussions on using Perl, meeting announcements and other events. It is up to you if you want to attend the meetings. Information presented at the meetings will always be posted on this web site.
The News and Events section will contain news about the Detroit Perl
Mongers, such as what was discussed at the last meeting and where and
when the next will take place. If you would like to submit a piece of
news, please send here
The HOWTO section is a collection of procedures authored by memebers
of the group that provide useful information on using Perl. This
information is usually presented at a meeting then it will be posted
in this section.
