OMG! We got it in, but how do we get it out? Dipping into deeply nested structures can sometimes be a bit intimidating and confusing. The whole idea of using the reference's sigil to dereference the value breaks down very rapidly once nesting starts: ${$baz{foo}}; # Not bad... ${$baz{bar}}[0]; # Starting to get ugly... &{$baz{doit}}(); # WTF! Unmaintainable. The '->' operator helps us avoid this calamity.
